The Podcast Photoshoot

Hey Everyone! It’s Natasha! We’re so excited that you’re here and looking forward to listening to the first episode. Christine and I have been wanting to start a podcast for awhile now. Christine has been a huge fan of podcast since the beginning of time and I actually first started out with a podcast of my own in 2009 called The Twi-Nerds Podcast.

We’ve been working hard to bring THOSE F%#KING FANGIRLS to you for like 9 months now. Once we landed on a name we reached out to our friend, Danielle McBrayer, to photograph us and get all the content for the podcast. We’ll be posting these images for ages upon ages but I thought I would take you through all our looks.

First Lewk - White Twilight

We had the most BRILLIANT beyond brilliant idea to recreate the Twilight book covers… artistically. We love props! Luckily I already had the apples, we grabbed the tulips from Michaels, and the ribbon and the chess set came from Amazon.

Second Lewk - On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Listen… we love color. We are color queens. So we needed to do a look with a pop of color. Danielle set up a backdrop in her backyard so we could get that pretty natural light. We did some pretty hilarious poses that had us cackling all through the shoot.

Third Lewk - Bella and Edward

True to our roots - we had to do a Bella and Edward look. Danielle (photographer) is also a huge TwiHard and literally planted the ferns that are all over the meadow and hiking scenes in her backyard. Christine climbed into a tree in a peacoat and I did my best Bella impression. These are my absolute fave!

Fourth Lewk - Vanity Fair

Our Robsten hearts fluttered in 2008 when Vanity Fair dropped their Twilight cast photoshoot. If you don’t remember this iconic shoot then you’re too young — but we’d love to educate you. There was a whole 80-minute behind the scene video of the cast which we all devoured. So, of course, we reenacted the shoot. Christine is Rob and I’m Kristen.

Fifth Lewk - Harper’s Bazaar

The Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot for Eclipse was a cultural reset… we needed to pay homage. This was the last look of the day with our 4 dozen fake roses. We lay down on the wet ground for this shot and I was definitely pulling out dead grass from my ponytail for weeks.

Make sure you’re following up on Instagram and TikTok to see more from this shoot!
